BATForce Transition Project

Accessing BTP

The BATForce Transition Project (BTP) is a flexible, strengths-based framework supporting schools, families and young people through key transition points.

Designed to work alongside school communities, BTP can be tailored to suit different needs, priorities and contexts. BTP is designed to be flexible and accessible for all schools.

Whether you’re starting small or looking for a longer-term approach, we can tailor support to suit your context.

The BATForce Transition Project is available to all schools.

Government schools:

  • Priority schools selected by the Department of Education participate free of charge
  • Government schools in the BATForce Barwon region may be subsidised by the Department of Education
  • All other Government schools (outside of the Barwon region) can access BTP on a fee-for-service basis

Independent and Catholic schools

  • BTP is available via a flexible fee-for-service model.

Working Together

We recognise that schools are balancing multiple priorities. BTP is designed to work alongside your existing structures — not add another layer.

We work alongside schools to identify the most relevant starting point — ensuring the approach is practical, achievable and aligned with your setting.

Because every school is different, engagement with BTP is tailored rather than fixed. We’re happy to work with you to identify a starting point that fits your school.

Investment Approach

Because every school is different, engagement with BTP is tailored rather than fixed.

Investment is influenced by:

  • The streams selected
  • Level of engagement (targeted group → year level → whole-school)
  • School priority group (student → parent and carers → staff)

This ensures the work remains practical, relevant and sustainable.  We’ll always work with you to find an approach that fits your budget and priorities.

You don’t need to do everything. You can start small and build over time.
