Supporting confident transitions for children, families and schools
The BATForce Transition Project (BTP) is a new two-year initiative funded by the Victorian State Government launching in 2026. It is built on 27 years of working alongside schools and listening to what communities need most during key transition points.
The BATForce Transition brings together what we’ve learnt from 27 years of delivering School Focused Youth Services and 18 years of delivering student, parent/carer workshops and professional development in schools and across community.
We aim to build the capacity of schools, families and young people at key transition points by bringing together early support, family engagement, student wellbeing and school capability to strengthen transitions before challenges escalate.
What is the BATForce Transition Project?

Not sure which pathway fits?
That’s okay — many schools combine pathways or start small and build over time.
We’ll work with you to:
- Understand your school context
- Identify transition pressure points
- Design a pathway that fits your students and families
